2025-2026 Fall Semester Course Registration and Advisor Approval Announcement for Students!

Course Registration Dates: September 12, 2025 – September 18, 2025
Advisor Approval Dates: September 12, 2025 – September 21, 2025

Please note the following rules:

1) Course Load and Overlap Rules
• First two semesters (1st and 2nd semesters): The standard course load specified in the curriculum cannot be changed (increases/decreases are not permitted).
• Class Hours: The weekly hours of the courses you are registered for cannot overlap, even partially.
• Exceptions (to the no-overlap rule):
    o This does not apply to double major (DMP) and minor students.

    o  For students transferring via horizontal/vertical transfer, this does not apply in the first two semesters of transfer.

2) ECTS Limits
Admitted in 2024 and Later
•    In each of the first two semesters: At least 30 ECTS credits must be taken.
•    In subsequent semesters: Courses can be taken between a minimum of 15 ECTS and a maximum of 40 ECTS credits.
Admitted in 2023 and Earlier
•    Normal course load definition: The total number of courses in the current semester's curriculum is your normal course load.
•    Possibility of Increase: The course load in a semester can be increased by a maximum of 3 courses with the student's request and advisor's approval.

3) Important Reminders
•    After registering for your courses, be sure to complete the finalization process.
•    Please note that courses with overlapping credits will not be approved.
•    Accept your ECTS limits, class/term status, and any exceptions.
